| History/Origin | Named in honour of Alec Fong Lim who was Lord Mayor of Darwin from 1984-1990. The lake was officially opened on 21 July 1991. The man-made lake is popular swimming and recreation area that draws its seawater from the nearby Fannie Bay. |
