''... prominent hill... Mount Fitch bearing the name of a noted smart sailor of the 'Henry Ellis' whose name was Michael Edward Fitch. He was with Colonel Finniss at Escape Cliffs as a boatman and subsequently, on leaving the Territory, carried out the duties of postman for many years at Gawler in SA."
