Data Quality
Lineage:Petroleum tenements have been captured from a paper based map series titled 'Petroleum Tenement Maps', produced by Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry and Resources, and date from 1965. The subsequent spatial accuracy is at best variable.
Positional Accuracy:Variable, dependent on method of data capture. Most historical titles captured from paper based maps may be only accurate to +-300 metres. More recent historical titles will have more accurate boundaries defined as they are based upon graticular coordinates.
