Description
Is a (1:10,000 scale dataset) that details the extent of flooding for a predetermined flooding frequency (usually 1% annual excedance probability), with peak flood height contours, and floodway derived from hydrological modelling using topographical mapping and hydrological flood/flow datasets. The mapping dataset is displayed over a topographic/cadastral base and provides a basis for identifying the extent and distribution of peak floodwater levels for the Borroloola area.

Data Quality
Lineage:Linework developed by external consultants or a surfacewater officer using topographic information, hydro flood/flow datasets, hydrological modelling and field investigations. Resultant linework verified by a surfacewater officer then digitally captured using MicroStation as a *.dgn file. Recompiled and updated to GDA94 as part of ongoing GIS Progarm 2004.
