| History/Origin |
Named after Peter Flanagan who was a Senior Stock Inspector for the Katherine region. Peter was based at Tennant Creek, Borroloola and Kalkaringi. Peter became ill in 1994, retiring from the Department in 1995. Supported by his family, he fought a big battle with cancer. He died on 3 May 1996. |
