| History/Origin | Weavers Cut Truck Parking Bay takes its name from the 'cut' made through the rise in the land near the parking bay. The origin of the name for the feature Weavers Cut is obscure; however it may be a reference to Arthur Robert (Bob) Weaver (1927-1996), a long term plant supervisor who worked in the area for the Department of Works in the 1960s. |
