| History/Origin |
Named after Bruce Pepperill who was born in the Neutral Junction/Hatches Creek region in 1943. Bruce started work with Baldocks in 1960 and later with Fleetowners, Nellie Transport and Spraypave. Bruce worked out of Katherine driving for Buntine Roadways from 1970 onward and passed away in 1991. A competent driver and bushman, he was well respected by those who knew him on the road. |
