| History/Origin | Named after Reginald Willard who worked at Gunn Point Correctional Centre, Darwin Correctional Centre, the Training and Staff Development Unit and in Head Office. He progressed through the ranks of Superintendent in 1986 and Director of Custodial Operations in 1995. At the time of his death, Reginald was the Assistant Commissioner Custodial Services (North) and was the first to have obtained this level from base Prison Officer. Reginald passed away in 1997. |
