| History/Origin | Named after Henry Charles Kerr, born in Rochcester Victoria in 1941. Henry moved to the Northern Territory in approximately 1980. He had various small businesses (mechanical, car sales and horticultural) in Darwin, Katherine and Eva Valley. Henry lived in Eva Valley for extended periods (at various locations) during the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. He was well known in the local area as a selfless person who would always put others welfare ahead of his own. Henry passed away in 2005 and was buried at Coomalie Bush Cemetery. |
