Named after Gilbert Rotherdale McMinn, a Senior Surveyor with Goyder in 1869/70 and later acting Government Resident in 1883/4. When the road was named it was believed McMinn's middle name was 'Rothdale". Since finding out the correct name, a decision has been made to leave the road as originally named. |
