History/Origin Named after Damian Miller who was a founder and share holder in Connellan Airways. He helped construct airstrips, build hangars and construct flight paths. He was awarded the DFC for bravery in combat in World War 2. Damian was a member of the RFDS and many other organisations around Alice Springs. He died in May 1991.
