| History/Origin |
Named after Charles FRY, a teamster who arrived with George Woodroffe Goyder's survey expedition in 1869. His wife and family arrived with the first European women in January 1870. Fry was drowned off the Queensland coast when the Gothenburg sank in 1875. |
