History/Origin |
A synonym of relief, the name "Solace" is derived from the history of the area, being that the original development of the Berry Springs swimming hole and surrounding facilities were developed to accommodate a rest area for troops in the Litchfield area during World War II. This area was said to give the troops relief, as they were able to rest and engage in some recreation. |
