History/Origin Named after Sister Cabrini Lees, a Daughter of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. She went to Port Keats in 1955 and became the Mission Cook, where she trained women and girls in domestic work. For the next 23 years she continued training the women and girls (as well as being Mission Cook or Supervisor of the Cooks), throughout the Top End missions of Garden Point, Daly River, Port Keats and in Darwin at Nightcliff and the East Arm leprosarium. In 1979 she worked in Alice Springs before returning to Port Keats for another four years, where she was coordinator of the Women's Centre.

The theme, Top End Catholic Priests and Religious, was selected through consultation with Larrakia Development Corporation.
