History/Origin |
Named after Bul Bul who was a Black-tracker who gained Australia wide fame for the phenomenal feats of tracking and bravery he displayed during the hunt for Nemarluk. He accompanied Constable T Fitzer into country strange to both of them and among tribes hostile to their intentions. He was killed in 1943 when an army vehicle on which he was traveling overturned south of Adelaide River. |
