History/Origin	Named after Sister Gabriella Fornarich, a Daughter of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and a trained nurse. Sister Gabriella worked at Bathurst Island in 1938 and in 1943 was one of the first Catholic Sisters to work at the Channel Island Leprosarium, where she nursed patients with Hansen's disease (Leprosy). The theme, Top End Catholic Priests and Religious, was selected through consultation with Larrakia Development Corporation.
