In commemoration of Greg Montgomery, the first person in the Northern Territory to put grid-connected solar power on his home. Greg lived in the rural area of Alice Springs, not far from the site of the proposed solar power station. Greg worked at Pine Gap and cared about the environment. His home featured best practice in energy efficiency, water efficiency, passive cooling and included appropriate gardening and plantings. |
