History/Origin | Named after Graham Ross, a pioneer of the Territory trucking industry. In 1956 he started up North Australia Haulage, which became the largest privately owned transport company in the Northern Territory. The company was heavily involved in the clean up after Cyclone Tracy. Graham Ross Bridge is the road bridge over the outbound lanes of Tiger Brennan Drive. |
