History/Origin | The Fiddian Range feature appears in David Lindsay's Trigs of 1880 of the Roper River District. It is believed the name is derived from Samuel Fiddian who was the first Headmaster of Prince Alfred College in Adelaide. It also appears on Ringwood's plan of the Overland Telegraph Line in the Northern Territory of 1874 (Sheet 1). |
